prelim results

Finally, Prelim exam is over. BUT the BIG THING is only FIVE weeks away from now!!! GCE 'O' Level!


Got back some of our results on Thurs and today. For me, I'm quite glad for some of my subjects but at the same time, feel that I could score better.


Firstly, let's talk about English. It was a total surprise to me when I found out that I scored 40/60 for Paper 1. Actually, I could have got 41/60 but becaues of my wrong format in my letter writing, the teacher deducted 1 mark. Haiz, never gonna let this happen in O level! I was pretty shock that my compo which I spent less than half an hour rushing through it can achieve 20/30. I never expect it to turn out this way. Anyway, the highest in our class is Fahmi who scored 48/60! If not for his wrong format which, like me, got 1 mark deducted, he would have scored 49/60. Hope that my Paper 2 can score a bit better than mid-year so that I can achieve my aim for English...


Next, Chinese. Only get back Paper 2 today. After adding back my 6 marks which Mdm Oh had missed, I got 60/70 for Paper 2. Aiya, my Paper 3 is merit and my Paper 1 didn't do well, dunno how I would eventually fare for Chinese.


A.Math. Got back Paper 1 only as Paper 2 has not marked finish. I am glad that I improve from F9 in mid-year to the current low B4 (49/80). However, I think that I did worse for my Paper 2 than my Paper 1. OMG...... *Pray~~~


Physics.I also improved in Physics, though my grade is still not satisfactory. I improved from D7 in mid-year to B4. The paper that pulled me down is Paper 2. I scored a low 41/80, just pass... In contrast, Allan scored 70/80! I was like WAH!!! when I heard the news. Dunno why but I just cannot fully understand some of the concepts... Aaarrrggghhh.....


Chemistry.Heex...I improved in Chemistry too. After calculating my marks in percentage, I scored 69.83333333 as shown in my calculator. I was like *ARRGGHHH!!! Just 0.17 mark then I can get A2 for Chemistry! But it was lucky that Mrs Tong said she would consider rounding off the marks. Even she knew and remembered that I scored 69.8 when I asked her if she would really round off our marks. Hope she would round off so that I can have 1 point less in my L1R5. *Please round off~~~please......


Biology.Yeah...got A1 for Biology. But it was a low A1 which is 76 percent. Haiz, can't get high marks for my Practical...I was fed up when I didn't get A1 in mid-year but finally, my A1 is back. [Ms Koh, how come you dun believe that I scored A1 for your subject??!!! v_v;;] But still, I need to work harder for O level as with this low A1, I may not be able to achieve A1 in O level after moderation as other schools may be better... *Jia you


Still have Combined Humanities, E.Math, EL Paper2 and A.Math Paper 2 yet to be given back to us. Hope I can score well...(",)


No matter how we fare for our Prelims, our ultimate goal is to score well in our O level. Keep positive and with the belief and determination we have, we would be able to succeed =)
