thoughts abt my new skin

A new skin which features Naruto and other ninjas from the Hidden Village of Konoha attending the Third's Hokage funeral after the Third Hokage fought with Orochimaru who was one of Third Hokage's students many years ago. The scene when the Third Hokage fought so hard in order to save the village from harm touched me alot. After watching the scene, it made me respect the hokages alot! By the way, a hokage is recognised as the ninja who has the highest level of ninja skills in a village. The anime 'Naruto' is really a nice anime to watch. It is the plot and the characters & attitudes of the ninjas in the anime that makes me want to continue to watch. I like this sad instrumental music too. You should watch Naruto if you have not watched before. The plot is really touching. Naruto is a highly-recommended anime to watch! *****

Schools re-opening tomorrow. No comments. Just hope that I can understand and am able to have a good grasp of the concepts. The worst thing for me tomorrow is that I have to study for 4 straight hours without break in between from 11.30a.m. to 3.30p.m.! -.-"

Anyway, I just got to know that all my male juniors successfully got into the second round of the audition. CoNgRatS!! Jia you for the next round!! :)

CSS2

Supposed to report to NYJC for the JC1 Level Camp today but I pon! The camp is about how to work effectively as a team which many people find it not really useful cos we are able to solve problems ourselves should they arise and there's no need to attend this camp. Instead, I went to Toa Payoh to support xxxxx. Started queueing at around 9.30 a.m. and it was already around 4.50 p.m. when it's finally xxxxx's turn. Result: xxxxx got in to the second round with just one try! Congrats! yyyyy and zzzzz suddenly screamed which gave me a shock as I was less than 50 cm from the both of them~ All of us clapped and cheered happily for xxxxx.

Anyway, the first contestant to queue is a student from my alma mater and he successfully got into the second round. The second round would be two weeks away. Hope I am free on that day to support xxxxx. As the mAjOriTy of today's contestants were kicked out, there should be much fewer people in the next round. That's a good news to all the supporters since we can stand for a shorter time. :p

Also saw my juniors taking part. All the very bEsT to them!! =)

Next week is a lecture week. Hope I won't be bored to death~ I've just done my Chemistry notes for the concepts which I understand for the first topic. I decided to do my notes early so that I'll have ample time to study for the subjects - a lesson I learnt from preparing for my 'O' level. I'll have to restart my study engine now after resting for 4 months. General Paper mid-year exam would be held in May and I really want to get good grade for my GP. 'A' level Chinese oral examination is just 2-3 months away. Jia you ba! =]

JAE life =p

I was zonked out after Orientation 2 in Nanyang JC cos of the Disco Night which last till 9pm! I reached home only at 10.20p.m.! =_=" Everyone was very 'high' during Disco Night. Everyone was jumping like nobody business... lolx... I jumped (unwillingly) till my toes hurt sehx... v_v

Basically, I've nothing to comment about the Orientation 2 cos I'm not really that enthusiastic in it. Perhaps I know what to expect for an orientation that makes me that not interested in the orientation. I would rather talk / crap with my friends than paying attention to what's happening around. NYJC friends are really friendly! Really! All of them are easy to talk to. =) On the last day of orientation, there's one new Tribe mate joining us. He was posted to JJC during PAE. However, he withdrew after orientation... =_=" That's because he lived in Bedok. Even further than when I travelled to NYJC from Jurong. LOL. I was in tribe 14. At first, my thought was "What an unlucky number man!" when I found out I belonged to Tribe 14, even though I am not superstitious. But, of course, that never disturbed me badly la.

My subject combination was out. I would be studying H1 General Paper, H1 Project Work, H2 Chinese Language & Literature, H2 Biology, H2 Chemistry and H2 Mathematics. sigh* Need to buy a really expensive Graphic Calculator. A one-year warranty costs $190 while a two-year warranty costs $199. Of course I'd rather pay $9 more to get a two-year warranty. -.- wth man... I've bought 2 sets of uniform which caost $56 in total. I heard that the colour of the uniform has become lighter, which somebody says "fake hwa chong students". lolx. =\ Nonetheless, I'd rather the colour to become lighter as at least it is nicer than when the colour is darker...

Need to print out lecture and tutorial notes so as to attend lesson when school reopens. As I was not with NYJC during PAE, I have to stay till afternoon/evening everyday on Week 1 Term 2 to attend the lectures for second intakers! OMG. I can't imagine how tired I may be.....

first day in NYJC

Today woke up at 5.21 a.m. just to want to reach NYJC early. However, I was still late by 10 minutes, but no one bothered whether I was late or not. phew~

I took a bus to Lakeside MRT station, then take till Bishan MRT station. After that, I took a bus no. 58 and finally reach NYJC. The whole journey took 1 h 30 min!

First day in NYJC was good to me. The school environment is very conducive for studying. The teachers are approchable. The principal is somewhat humorous, and he is so much better than the principal in the JC which I have been posted to during PAE. =P

We registered our subject combination online today. I've chosen H2 Chinese Language & Literature, H2 Biology, H2 Math and H2 either Physics or Chemistry. The other 3 are H1 General Paper, H1 Project Work and H1 Chinese.

There's CCA Bazaar during the afternoon and I've signed up for Channel News Nanyang and Photographic Society.

This is what I have to do for the next 2 years: Wake up at 5.03 a.m. every morning (during weekdays of course) and get ready by 5.35 a.m. to take the first bus of bus no. 154. I'll then alight at Clementi MRT station and transfer to bus no. 105 which will bring me to NYJC. The whole journey takes around 1 h 15 min. But hope there is only few people taking the bus that early and that the bus driver would drive faster so that I can reach school earlier... And, of course, I will reverse the process to go back home.

Tomorrow is the official start of Orientation 2. Maybe I'll blog about the orientation 2 at a later date. =)
